Random Rant: Common courtesy again

So today I'd organised last week to meet a couple of people for lunch. Well I'd organised to meet one person for lunch and they'd invited someone else along, but that's ok.
What wasn't ok was me waiting for 10 minutes for them to find that they'd decided not to go to lunch after all.
I popped up to speak to one of them - they both work in my building - and she gave me some standard excuses - workload was heavy, thought each other had told me it was off, blah blah.
Shit like this really fucks me off.
I had an e-mail later apologising and saying that they'd sent an e-mail but I hadn't got it for some reason, and could I send a calendar appointment for next week.
Why do they need an appointment - forgetting wasn't the excuse it was workload. How the hell do you think I didn't receive your e-mail? Perhaps because you never fucking sent it.
Just a little warning in advance would've been nice so I could've made other plans - I mean it's only Friday fucking lunchtime after all.
Popular person syndrome - people who are 'popular' and busy a lot of the time don't give a shit about when they impact on other people's plans. Like I should be lucky that they decided to meet with me in the first place and I don't have anything ging on that would be more important than them anyway.
Fuck people like that.
